1. Who is responsible

Michael Mattern, Stadtäcker 4, 68526 Ladenburg, Germany, michael@mattern.io (the "operator"). The applications described here are personal tools used by the operator himself. They are not offered to the public and have no users other than the operator and members of his household.

2. This website

ai-inside.app is a static website served via Cloudflare. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and collects no personal data. Cloudflare, as hosting provider, processes connection data (IP address, request headers) in server logs for security and operation purposes under its own privacy policy.

3. The "gog" Google Workspace client

What it is. gog is a command-line program that runs locally on the operator's computer. It uses Google's OAuth 2.0 to access the operator's own Google account through the official Google APIs.

Which Google data it accesses. Depending on the scopes granted at sign-in: Gmail (reading, drafting, labelling and sending messages), Google Calendar (reading and creating events), Google Drive and Google Docs, Sheets (reading and editing files), and Google Contacts (reading contacts).

How the data is used. Exclusively to carry out the actions the operator requests from the command line, such as reading an e-mail, creating a draft, looking up a calendar entry or editing a spreadsheet. Data is processed on the operator's own device and displayed to the operator.

Storage. OAuth tokens are stored only in a local configuration directory on the operator's computer. Downloaded attachments or files are stored locally only when the operator explicitly requests a download. No Google user data is stored on any server operated by the operator, and none is transmitted to third parties.

Sharing. Google user data is never sold, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising, and never used to train machine-learning or AI models.

Limited Use. The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs by this application adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by deleting the local token file. Revocation takes effect immediately.

4. Your rights (GDPR)

Where personal data is processed, data subjects have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection under Articles 15 to 21 GDPR, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for the operator: Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg). Requests go to the contact address above.

5. Changes

This policy may be updated when the tools change. The current version is always published at ai-inside.app/privacy.
